Information you provide
Account information can include your name, verified email, sign-in methods, optional profile photo and country preference. Features you choose may store saved products, collections, private notes, ProductVault™ records, product requests, notifications and community contributions.
Retailer and brand accounts
If you register an advertiser organisation, ProductFinda stores its type, name, website, contact and billing email, primary market, membership, policy acceptance, submitted logos, advertisement copy and prices, review decisions and featured-placement bookings. This information is used to verify commercial eligibility and brand assets, prevent conflicting bookings, operate approved placements, maintain an audit record and prepare for later billing. No card or payment credential is collected in the current phase.
Advertisers receive only their own organisation and booking records plus privacy-bounded aggregate ProductFinda activity. They do not receive consumer identities, saved products, ProductVault records, private notes or watch history.
Review and watch progress
ProductFinda stores progress for review videos so you can continue your research and see which reviews you watched. Records can include the ProductFinda product and review identifiers, played segments, duration, watched state and update time. This is ProductFinda account history; ProductFinda does not download the YouTube video or audio.
Signed-out progress normally stays in your browser. It transfers to an account only when you choose “Bring my watch history from this browser.” Creating an account permits future signed-in review progress to be saved to that private account.
Why information is used
- Provide account, synchronization, saved-research and ProductVault features.
- Secure accounts, prevent abuse and maintain audit/recovery records.
- Deliver notifications you explicitly select.
- Publish community content only with the separate disclosures and choices shown at submission.
YouTube and external retailers
Playing an embedded review sends playback requests and context to YouTube under YouTube’s privacy policy. Opening a retailer or source link sends you to that external site, which applies its own privacy policy. ProductFinda does not send your private notes or ProductVault data through those links.
Service providers
ProductFinda uses infrastructure, authentication, email, storage, moderation and measurement providers to operate the service. Providers receive only the information needed for their function and are kept within the documented service boundaries.
Optional analytics and marketing
Terms acceptance is not consent to optional analytics or marketing. Analytics uses a separate consent control and can be withdrawn. Product notifications are opt-in by update type and delivery channel.
Retention and control
Account information is retained while needed to provide the account and meet security or legal obligations. You can download selected account sections, including watch history, and permanently delete your account from account Privacy settings. Deletion removes the private account data described by that process.
Security
ProductFinda uses access controls, encrypted transport, private storage and bounded provider access. No online service can guarantee absolute security; report suspected account misuse promptly and change compromised credentials.
Children
You must be 16 or older to create an account or post. ProductFinda is not directed to children. Community stays attached to a product page.
Policy changes
Material changes use a new policy version. New accounts must accept the current version, and existing accounts may be asked to accept a later version before affected account features continue.
