1. The service
ProductFinda provides product research, independent video links, checked specifications, retailer destinations and account tools. It is an information service, not a retailer, manufacturer, insurer, financial adviser or purchasing agent.
2. Accounts and saved research
When you create an account, you ask ProductFinda to store account data needed to provide the features you use. This can include saved products, collections, private notes, product requests, notification choices, ProductVault™ records and review watch progress.
You must be 16 or older to create an account or post in community.
Review progress records which ProductFinda review videos you started or watched and the progress needed to continue across signed-in devices. A video counts as watched only after more than 60% is played. ProductFinda does not download YouTube video or audio. Signed-out browser progress transfers to an account only when you select that option.
You can inspect or export your watch history and other account data, and you can permanently delete your account from Privacy settings. Keep your credentials secure and provide accurate account information.
3. YouTube videos
YouTube videos play through YouTube’s official embedded player and remain subject to YouTube’s terms, privacy policy and controls. ProductFinda links to the original video and does not own, alter or endorse creator content. Availability, advertising and playback features are controlled by YouTube.
4. Product evidence
Specifications and editorial summaries are provided for research and may contain errors or become outdated. Check linked sources and the manufacturer before relying on safety, compatibility, health, warranty or purchasing information.
5. Retailers and prices
Retailer cards are outbound links. Prices are last-checked observations for the stated model and conditions; they can change without notice and do not guarantee stock, delivery, tax or checkout price. Confirm every purchase with the retailer. Featured placement, affiliate relationships or paid promotion must be labelled; ordinary inclusion does not imply endorsement.
5a. Retailer and brand advertising accounts
If you register an advertiser organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to act for it and that the organisation, contact, website and destination information you submit is accurate. You must also be authorised to use submitted logos, offer copy, advertised prices and RRP claims. Discount claims must use a genuine normal RRP higher than the advertised price and remain accurate for the booked market and period.
A booking hold is not guaranteed inventory, an invoice or a paid order. ProductFinda may verify, approve, reject, suspend or cancel an organisation, logo, creative or placement. Only an approved product, regional market, destination and period can become the clearly labelled Featured Retailer. Advertising cannot purchase or alter ProductFinda’s editorial conclusions, evidence, reviews, organic retailer inclusion or organic order. Payment terms will require a later agreement when payment is introduced.
6. Trademarks and media
Product names, retailer marks and creator names identify their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply endorsement or partnership. Credited review stills and linked media remain subject to their recorded source and usage basis.
7. Community and user content
Community questions and answers must follow the Community Guidelines. Provide lawful, accurate content. Say if you own the product, have used it, or work for someone who sells it. Public posting shows your name and profile photo. ProductFinda checks every member post before it appears and may reject or remove content.
7a. Money and reviews
Do not pay or offer perks for answers. Do not ask other members to post a review or rating. Brand and retailer staff must disclose that affiliation. ProductFinda does not remove a post because it is negative. Fake, paid or undisclosed promotion is prohibited.
7b. Reports, removal and appeals
Anyone may report a problem, including when signed out. We record the complaint, apply the relevant jurisdiction clock, and keep a log of steps taken. If we remove your post we will tell you why. You may ask us to look again once. Copyright notices are described on the copyright page.
8. Acceptable use
- Do not interfere with security, access controls, rate limits or other users.
- Do not scrape private account data, misuse credentials or upload harmful content.
- Do not use the service to violate another platform’s terms or intellectual-property rights.
9. Availability and liability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, ProductFinda does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete accuracy or fitness for a particular purchase. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Suspension and deletion
Access may be limited for security, abuse or legal reasons. You may delete your account using the verified deletion process. Some non-identifying approved product suggestions may remain as described during deletion.
11. Changes
If these terms materially change, a new version will be presented for acceptance before new account features requiring that version are used. Optional analytics and marketing choices remain separate from these terms.
