Beats Pill is a portable Bluetooth speaker introduced in June 2024, with USB-C audio and a separate woofer and tweeter. Beats rates one charge at up to 24 hours and the body IP67; Apple cautions that water resistance does not make it waterproof. In first-weeks listening, reviewers heard noticeable bass but heard different tradeoffs at high and low volume. Stereo requires a second Pill. Compare dated five-market retailer cards and the regional one-year limited warranty.

Evidence summary
Recurring strengths and trade-offs
In first-weeks listening, This is Tech Today heard more bass from the Pill than Sony ULT Field 1. Flossy Carter also heard bass remain present at low volume. These are their listening impressions, not a shared measurement.
In first-weeks demonstrations, Flossy Carter paired two Pills in Amplify Mode, while Digital Trends preferred two in Stereo Mode to a single mono Pill for outdoor entertaining. Both show why you need a second unit for a wider setup.
What depends on needs and context
In first-weeks tests, This is Tech Today heard pumping and distortion at maximum volume, while Flossy Carter praised the Pill’s bass at low volume. Neither observation establishes how every track or outdoor space will sound.
Decision checks
Beats includes a USB-C cable but sells the power adapter separately. Its model A3211 safety sheet recommends a USB PD charger delivering 15–45 watts for maximum charging speed; this is charger guidance, not measured speaker draw.
Beats lists Bluetooth and USB-C audio, and Digital Trends reports no analog 3.5 mm input. For wired playback from a compatible computer, use USB-C.
The retailer cards show product destinations and offers checked on 26 September 2026. Confirm the colour, seller, stock and checkout total in your country; prices and availability can change.
Apple says the Pill is water and dust resistant, not waterproof. Wipe accidental liquid with a dry, lint-free cloth; avoid pressurized water, intentional submersion and charging while wet.
A single Pill plays mono. Beats says Stereo Mode splits left and right across two compatible Pill speakers, while Amplify Mode plays the same audio through both.
Apple’s regional accessory warranty covers manufacturing defects for one year and excludes accidental damage and normal battery depletion. Statutory consumer rights remain separate, including in Australia and New Zealand.
