The case does not support wireless charging, and the earbuds do not automatically pause when you remove one. Picky Audio also notes that the earbud buttons make you choose between volume and noise-control shortcuts. Check those tradeoffs if you use them on another pair.

Beats lists one-touch pairing on compatible Apple devices and Google Fast Pair on Android. Yes. Beats lists active noise cancelling and claims up to 1.6 times the cancellation of the original Studio Buds. In a first-weeks test, Carnoy heard less ambient noise across more frequencies. Picky Audio’s 2024 test also found the ANC strong, though he preferred AirPods Pro 2 slightly.

How long does the battery last?

Beats claims up to 9 hours per charge and 36 hours with the case when ANC and Transparency are off. With ANC on, it claims up to 6 hours per charge and 24 hours total. These are manufacturer figures under its stated test conditions, not a guarantee of your own runtime.

The earbuds are IPX4-rated for sweat and splashes. The charging case is not sweat- or water-resistant. Avoid treating this rating as waterproofing or applying it to the case.
